I just won my first grant.
The PASCAL Network appreciated the following proposal for showcasing the technology developed inside the network:
Text Mining for Semantically Enabled Social Browsing
Abstract
We propose to showcase the automated text analysis methods investigated inside the PASCAL network by developing a demonstration of web pages visualisation for the purpose of enabling contextualized online collaboration. The demonstration will enable real time identification of visitors to semantically similar web pages and real time interaction between them. The demonstrated PASCAL technology should be considered novel, attractive and useful to the internet industry involved with web browsers, information portals, blog services and online collaboration systems for the purpose of enabling their users an experience called social browsing.
I would like to thank the PASCAL Network for granting me the 13 000 EUR for developing the prototype application.
NEW! NEW! NEW! A Demonstration of the project results is now available here!
Any one interested in the idea, demo, or developed technology please let me know.
BTW: A similar solution me.dium just got 15M$ in the second round of funding. : )
